NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

1. TO ENTER:  You may enter the Beau Society – Fragrance Launch Essay Contest (the “Contest”) by submitting an essay to Beau Society during the Contest Period described below.

​To submit your essay during the Contest Period, all eligible entrants must:

a. Use the online entry form found at:

b. Complete and submit the online entry form, including providing entrant’s full name, age, emailaddress, mailing address, and other personal information required by the form; and

c. Write and submit an original essay of two hundred fifty (250) words or less responding to the following prompt: “Tell us about the most meaningful scent memory in your life.” (the “Essay”).

Limit: ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON during the Contest Period. All entries become the property of Beau Society. Any attempt to exceed this limit will result in disqualification. By submitting an entry as instructed through the above method, you agree that your Essay conforms to the Guidelines and Restrictions detailed in Section 4 below. Beau Society may choose to remove any Essay or disqualify you from the Contest if it believes that your Essay fails to conform with the Guidelines and Restrictions.

Any use of artificial intelligence, automated, robotic, macro, programmed, or similar quick-entry programs is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Beau Society will not correspond regarding receipt of entries. 

Beau Society and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, for lost or unavailable network connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of the entries. Proof of entering information on our form does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. Beau Society may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest in any way by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices of intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other parties or representatives of Beau Society. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person who is the registered owner of the e-mail address provided on the entry form on the date the entry is submitted. 

2. PROMOTION PERIOD:  The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on July 31, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM PT on August 15, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received during the Contest Period. Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. A computer owned by Beau Society will be the official time-keeping device for this Contest. Beau Society reserves the right to modify the scheduling of the Contest without prior notification, subject to applicable law.

3. ELIGIBILITY:  The Contest is open to all legal residents of the United States (except for Rhode Island), the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, who are over the age of eighteen (18) (or otherwise over the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside at the time of entry), but is void in the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, all other U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Beau Society, its advertising and promotion agencies, and all parties responsible for the development and administration of this Contest, and the immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the households, of the above, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate. 

Entrants utilizing multiple email accounts to enter the Contest will be disqualified. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and regulations. By participating in the Contest, and/or the prize, entrants agree to release Beau Society, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the Contest and, if declared a winner, the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities.

IMPORTANT GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTION FOR GRAND PRIZE: While the Contest is open to residents of the United States (except for Rhode Island), the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, the Grand Prize (Tier 1) trip to New York to attend the launch event is available only to residents of the contiguous United States (excluding Rhode Island) and the District of Columbia. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are eligible to enter the Contest and to win Tier 2 and Tier 3 prizes but are not eligible to win the Tier 1 Grand Prize. Entries from residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be judged for Tier 2 and Tier 3 prizes only.

Entries received from people residing outside of the eligible geographic areas, or where restricted or prohibited by law, will be disqualified. The Contest and any websites, webpages, and advertisements relating thereto are intended for viewing only within the United States and Puerto Rico. Beau Society reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

4. ESSAY GUIDELINES AND RESTRICTIONS:

• Your Essay must not supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information, and must be consistent with the instructions specified in these Official Rules.

• Your Essay must be your original creation and be owned one hundred percent (100%) by you. Your Essay must not have been previously published, submitted to any other contest or promotion, or previously distributed in any media.

• Your Essay must be written in English and must be two hundred fifty (250) words or less in length. Essays that exceed this word range will be disqualified.

• Your Essay must not: (i) violate any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, or rights of privacy and publicity; (ii) contain disparaging or defamatory statements; (iii) include threats to any person, place, business, or group; (iv) be obscene, offensive, or indecent; (v) depict any risky behavior; (vi) contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; (vii) contain unauthorized third-party trademarks or logos; or (viii) contain any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.

You represent and warrant that: (i) the Essay does not violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation; (ii) the Essay is your original work and does not infringe or violate any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademark rights, rights of privacy, or rights of publicity; (iii) to the extent the Essay depicts any individual or features the voice or other qualities of any individual, you are the individual referenced in the Essay, or alternatively, that you have obtained written permission from each person appearing in the Essay to grant the rights to Beau Society described in these Official Rules, and will make written copies of such permissions available to Beau Society upon request; (iv) the Essay complies with all requirements of these Official Rules.

Any Essay in violation of this Section 4 will be disqualified as determined by Beau Society in Beau Society’s sole discretion.

5. WINNER SELECTION; NOTIFICATION; ODDS OF WINNING:  THIS CONTEST IS A SKILL-BASED COMPETITION. WINNERS ARE SELECTED BASED ON THE QUALITY OF THEIR ESSAY SUBMISSION AS EVALUATED AGAINST PRE-ESTABLISHED, OBJECTIVE JUDGING CRITERIA. THIS IS NOT A SWEEPSTAKES, RANDOM DRAWING, LOTTERY, OR GAME OF CHANCE. THE OUTCOME OF THIS CONTEST DEPENDS PRIMARILY ON THE SKILL, CREATIVITY, AND WRITING ABILITY OF THE PARTICIPANTS, NOT ON CHANCE. NO ELEMENT OF THIS CONTEST INVOLVES A RANDOM DRAWING OR ANY OTHER METHOD OF SELECTION BASED ON CHANCE.

Following the end of the Contest Period, Beau Society will select winners from all eligible Essays based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):

• Consistency of Entry (Essay) with contest theme specified by Beau Society in Section 1; (40%);

• Creativity of Essay (40%); and

• The most apt, original, and interesting Essay (20%).

In the unlikely event of a tie, the potential winner will be determined by a panel of qualified judges (the “Judges”) based on highest score in the following category: creativity of the Essay. Odds of winning a prize depend on number and quality of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will be notified via email, at the email address provided in the entry form at Beau Society’s sole and absolute discretion. If Beau Society attempts to contact the potential winner and cannot engage in a conversation with the potential winner within five (5) business days from the first notification attempt, then such person may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected, if time permits. Although Beau Society may, in its sole discretion, choose to leave a message or messages on such potential winner’s voicemail service or answering machine, such messages are solely to facilitate live contact within the five (5) business day period and do not constitute a “live conversation” for purposes of this Contest. If Beau Society attempts to contact the potential winner via email, then the potential winner must respond to such email, and provide all requested information, within the time specified in the email, or such person may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected via a random drawing, if time permits. All notification requirements, as well as other requirements within these Official Rules, will be enforced.

WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY BEAU SOCIETY, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A PRIZE WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE AND NO FURTHER ACTION IS NEEDED.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beau Society may require each potential winner to sign and return, within 48 hours of being notified, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and tax forms in order to claim his/her prize (except where prohibited). If (i) the attempted notification is returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address; (ii) any required documents are not returned within 48 hours, such as the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and/or tax forms; or (iii) if potential winner is otherwise unable to accept the prize as stated, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next highest scoring participant, subject to Beau Society’s verification. Alternate winners will continue to be contacted until the prize is awarded.

Beau Society does not assume any responsibility for form entries that are lost, misdirected, that end up in a spam folder, or that were misspelled or incorrect in the online entry. Without limiting the above, forfeiture of a prize, in whole or in part, may result from any of the following at Beau Society’s discretion: (1) failure of a potential winner to execute and return any required documents (and a completed IRS Form W-9 if required by Internal Revenue Service regulations for residents of the United States), by the deadline specified in the notification; (2) the return of any notification or prize as undeliverable; and(3)any other non-compliance with these Official Rules.  Beau Society is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a potential winner to receive any notification from Beau Society, or for the failure of Beau Society to receive any response or required documents from the potential winner.

By entering the Contest (including submitting a drawing entry), entrants agree to the use by Beau Society and its designees of their name (first and last name), email address, photograph, and likeness for advertising, promotional and other marketing purposes, in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media (including the Internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.  Winners may be required to sign a document to this effect.  All entrant information will be used solely for the purposes of administrating this Contest, unless the entrant otherwise consents, and will be subject to the Beau Society’s Privacy Policy athttps://beausociety.com/privacy.  

6. PRIZE:

Tier 1 – Grand Prize Trip to New York: From among entries submitted by residents of the contiguous United States (excluding Rhode Island) and the District of Columbia only (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico), the three (3) entrants with the highest final scores will each be selected as a Tier 1 Grand Prize winner. Three (3) Grand Prize winners (restricted to residents of the contiguous United States (excluding Rhode Island) and the District of Columbia only) will each receive a trip for the winner and one (1) guest (guests must be 18 years or older) to New York, NY to attend the Estée Lauder Glimmer fragrance launch event on September 9, 2026. Each Grand Prize package includes:

• Economy airfare for one winner and one guest;

• Accommodation of one hotel room for two nights (guests may request either a single or double bed, subject to hotel availability and at hotel’s discretion);

• Two tickets to the Glimmer fragrance launch event.

ARV of each Tier 1 Grand Prize: $[__]. Total ARV for all Tier 1 Grand Prizes: $[__]. Total ARV of all prizes in the Contest: $[__].

Tier 2 – Deluxe Fragrance Sets: From among all eligible entries (including those from residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico), the next twenty (20) entrants with the highest final scores (excluding those already selected as Tier 1 Grand Prize winners) will each be selected as a Tier 2 winner. Twenty (20) winners will each receive one (1) Deluxe Glimmer Gift Set signed by Hailee Steinfeld, which includes [DESCRIBE CONTENTS, e.g., full-size fragrance bottle, scented lotion, travel-size spray, and gift packaging]. ARV of each Tier 2 prize: $[__]. Total ARV for all Tier 2 prizes: $[__].

Tier 3 – Fragrance Samples: The next one hundred fifty (150) entrants with the highest final scores (excluding those already selected as Tier 1 or Tier 2 winners) will each be selected as a Tier 3 winner. All eligible entries, including those from residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, will be considered for this tier. One hundred fifty (150) winners will each receive one (1) Glimmer fragrance sample. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Tier 3 prize: $[__]. Total ARV for all Tier 3 prizes: $[__]. 

No entrant may win more than one (1) prize. If an entrant’s Essay is among the highest-scoring entries for multiple tiers, the entrant will be awarded the highest-tier prize for which the Essay qualifies, and the entrant will be removed from consideration for lower-tier prizes. The next highest-scoring eligible entry will then be selected for the lower-tier prize.  

The ARV of each prize represents Beau Society’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of any prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash.

Prize Restrictions:

• Only one (1) prize per person and per household will be awarded.

• Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by winner.

• Beau Society reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if the prize described in this Contest is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason.

• Grand Prize travel must be completed on dates specified by Beau Society. If winner is unable to travel on the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability and Beau Society’s approval. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Winner is responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, if applicable.

• Beau Society will not replace any lost or stolen prize items.

• Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply.

• Beau Society is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Contest.

7. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:  BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS BEAU SOCIETY, ITS RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES,  ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS AND EMPLOYEES (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASEES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS AND ANY LIABILITY OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM OR ARISING FROM THE CONTEST OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE OR NONUSE OF THE PRIZE THAT MAY BE AWARDED. RELEASEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPUTER, PRINTING, TYPOGRAPHICAL, HUMAN, OR OTHER ERRORS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ERRORS WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONTEST, THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRIZE, THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES OR IN ANY CONTEST RELATED MATERIALS; OR FOR ILLEGIBLE ENTRIES OR ENTRIES THAT FAIL TO ENTER INTO THE PROCESSING SYSTEM, OR ARE PROCESSED, REPORTED, OR TRANSMITTED LATE OR INCORRECTLY OR ARE LOST FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING COMPUTER, TELEPHONE, PAPER TRANSFER, HUMAN OR OTHER ERROR; OR FOR ELECTRONIC, COMPUTER, OR TELEPHONIC MALFUNCTION OR ERROR.  IF IN BEAU SOCIETY'S OPINION, THERE IS ANY SUSPECTED OR ACTUAL EVIDENCE OF ELECTRONIC OR NON-ELECTRONIC TAMPERING WITH ANY PORTION OF THE CONTEST, OR IF COMPUTER VIRUSES, BUGS, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, FRAUD, OR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES OR FAILURES OR COMPROMISE OR CORRUPT OR AFFECT THE ADMINISTRATION, INTEGRITY, SECURITY, FAIRNESS, OR PROPER CONDUCT OF THE CONTEST, OR IF THE CONTEST CANNOT BE CONDUCTED AS DESCRIBED HEREIN FOR ANY REASON, BEAU SOCIETY RESERVES THE RIGHT AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION TO DISQUALIFY ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO TAMPERS WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS AND OR VOID ANY ENTRIES SUBMITTED FRAUDULENTLY, TO MODIFY OR SUSPEND THE CONTEST, OR TO TERMINATE THE CONTEST WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.  AS A CONDITION OF ENTERING THE CONTEST, ENTRANT AGREES THAT:A.)UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES;AND B.) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS FEES. 

8. GENERAL TERMS: Beau Society reserves the right to make changes or additions to these Official Rules and/or extend the dates of the Contest Period for this Contest for any reason at any time. Beau Society’s failure to enforce any term of this Contest shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY ALTER OR DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, BEAU SOCIETY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. DISPUTES: 

a. Binding Arbitration. Each entrant agrees that any dispute, controversy or claim related to these Official Rules (a “Claim”), to the extent unable to be resolved through mutual negotiations, may, upon the election of either the entrant or Beau Society, with the exception of those Claims expressly excluded in paragraph 9.e., be finally and exclusively resolved by binding arbitration. Any election to arbitrate by one party shall be final and binding on the other. The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of JAMS that are in effect at the time the arbitration is initiated (the “JAMS Rules”) and under the terms set forth in these Official Rules. In the event of a conflict between the terms set forth in these Official Rules and the JAMS Rules, the terms set forth in these Official Rules will control and prevail.  Except as otherwise set forth in paragraph 9.e., an entrant may seek out any remedies available to him or her under federal, state or local laws in an arbitration action. As part of the arbitration, an entrant and Beau Society will have the opportunity for discovery of non-privileged information that is relevant to the Claim.  The arbitrator will provide a written statement of the arbitrator’s decision regarding the Claim, the award given and the arbitrator’s findings and conclusions on which the arbitrator’s decision is based.  The arbitrator must follow applicable law, and any award may be challenged if the arbitrator fails to do so. The determination of whether a Claim is subject to arbitration shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and determined by a court rather than an arbitrator.  Except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules, (i) an entrant and Beau Society may litigate in court to compel arbitration, stay proceedings pending arbitration, or to confirm, modify, vacate or enter judgment on the award entered by the arbitrator; and (ii) the arbitrator’s decision is final, binding on all parties and enforceable in any court that has jurisdiction.  

​BY AGREEING TO THIS ARBITRATION PROVISION, EACH ENTRANT UNDERSTANDS THAT HE OR SHE IS WAIVING THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL.  

b. Arbitration Fees.  If an entrant initiates arbitration for a Claim, he or she will only need to pay an arbitration initiation fee of $250 and Beau Society will pay all other costs charged by JAMS for initiating the arbitration.  If Beau Society is initiating arbitration for a Claim, Beau Society will pay all costs charged by JAMS for the arbitration.  All other fees and costs of the arbitration will be charged pursuant to the JAMS Rules.  No entrant will be required to pay Beau Society’s attorneys’ fees or other costs if he or she does not prevail in the arbitration.  No entrant will seek attorneys’ fees in the event they are deemed the prevailing party.

c. Location. The arbitration will take place in entrant’s hometown area unless the parties agree to video, phone and/or internet connection appearances.  Any Claim not subject to arbitration (other than claims proceeding in any small claims court), or where no election to arbitrate has been made, shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles, California, United States of America, and each entrant agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court. 

d. Restrictions. Each entrant agrees that any arbitration shall be limited to the Claim between Beau Society and each such entrant individually. EACH ENTRANT FURTHER AGREES THAT (A) THERE IS NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY DISPUTE TO BE ARBITRATED ON A CLASS-ACTION BASIS OR TO UTILIZE CLASS ACTION PROCEDURES; (B) THERE IS NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY DISPUTE TO BE BROUGHT IN A PURPORTED REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY OR AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL; AND (C) NO ARBITRATION SHALL BE JOINED WITH ANY OTHER.

e. Exceptions to Arbitration. Each entrant agrees that the following Claims are not subject to the above provisions concerning binding arbitration: (a) any Claims seeking to enforce or protect, or concerning the validity of, any intellectual property rights of Beau Society; (b) any Claim related to, or arising from, allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy or unauthorized use; and (c) any claim for injunctive relief.  In addition to the foregoing, either party may assert an individual action in small claims court for Claims that are within the scope of such courts’ jurisdiction in lieu of arbitration.  

f. Governing Law. Except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules, these Official Rules will be governed by, and will be construed under, the laws of the State of California, without regard to its choice of law principles.    

g. Severability. Each Entrant agrees that if any portion of this paragraph 9 is found illegal or unenforceable (except any portion of paragraph 9.e.), that portion shall be severed and the remainder of the Section shall be given full force and effect. If paragraph 9.e. is found to be illegal or unenforceable then no entrant will elect to arbitrate any Claim falling within that portion of paragraph 9.e. found to be illegal or unenforceable and such Claim shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction within Los Angeles, California, United States of America, and entrant agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court.

LIMITATIONS ON DAMAGES, VENUE, AND RESTRICTIONS ON CLASS ACTIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ALL JURISDICTIONS AND SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 

10. WINNER CONFIRMATION: An entrant may request the name of the winners by sending a self-addressed, stamped business-size (#10) envelope to: This is BS Inc., Beau Society – Fragrance Launch Essay Contest Confirmation Request, [ADDRESS]. Requests must be postmarked within three (3) days after the end of the Contest Period and received within ten (10) business days after the end of the Contest Period. 

11. Sponsor: This is BS Inc., [ADDRESS].  Beau Society advertisers do not endorse or sponsor, and are not otherwise affiliated with the Contest.
