Hi guys!! I hope you’re having a fabulous Friday wherever you are. I’m still buzzing from last night’s “first sip” celebration for Angel Margarita. Jordan, one of my closest friends flew across the country to surprise me and I felt so overjoyed to have her there. Not to sound cheese, but to be at this beautiful house in West Hollywood (which will forever be the Angel Margarita house) and look around and see my close friends and family together, everyone with a can (or coupe) of Angel, was so surreal. I can’t wait for you to try it, too!
More on the PARTY…you guys know I love to host and this night was all in the details. Here are the highlights:
● First, I didn’t have my phone on me. So, on the one hand, I’m neglecting my goal to take more pictures this year. But, of course, I felt more in the moment, which I think is always worth it. Plus, we had a photo booth — always a hit.
● It felt like summer in February! Something about the music (DJ Jadaboo killed it), mixed with the grapefruit and lime-themed florals, being by the pool with margaritas…it was all energizing.
● A little lol moment: At one point in the night, the vending machine got accidentally locked — with all the Angel cans inside — and Josh had to physically rip it open. I didn’t see this happen but I followed the loud cheering. I thought someone had fallen in the pool! Crises averted.
● The food!! We had tacos and these chocolate-filled churros that every person was raving about.
● Jordi, Rodrigo, and I said a few words. In Jordi’s sentiments, he reminded us why Angel is such a unique and special drink: It’s the only RTD (ready-to-drink) margarita on the market made with 100% Blue Agave Tequila.
The countdown to March 3rd is on — sign up for the email list so you get a buzz when Angel is available!

Before I forget, I want to tell you about being on the cover of Who What Wear!! Check out the interview. I was so excited to be back on set with an amazing photographer (Myrthe Giesbers) styling and creative team. The clothes were so cool. The Tory Burch number I wore on the cover might have been my favorite piece. You guys know I’m so enjoying my short hair, but this shoot may have made me miss the drama just a little bit.
Michael B. was quoted in the interview, and reading it gave me the feels. Like he said, we became family on the Sinners set. Speaking of, when the trailer came out ahead of issue #23, Vampires & boobs, so many of you wrote in asking about two things 1) how it felt to have a mouth full of fake blood and 2) what it was like working with Michael…should I try to get him to come on for an issue to chat about it??
Next week, I have a little trip planned. I’ll tell you all about it once I have my bearings. Until then, onto some recent saves that make up this week’s BS…
TO READ: This essay. It’s about the beauty (and importance) of planning summer trips with friends, especially when life looks different for everyone, which sometimes happens out of nowhere! (We were talking about this last night.)
TO CONSIDER: Low-energy habits. Keep something soft nearby and have an “everything is fine” outfit.
TO EAT: This chicken and dumpling soup looks delicious and almost too easy. Of course, there’s no such thing.
TO STYLE: This is my next coffee-table book. It’s filled with tips for styling, color pairing (the Tibi color wheel!), and layering.
TO BUY: I have my eye on this ‘Dinner A Love Story’ tote bag. Read the poem and you’ll get it.
Okay, it's time for me to get some rest (or try to). Have a fantastic weekend!
Love,
Hailee (Beau)
Highlighting your comments on the previous week’s issue. Today, we hear Fer’s response to Hi Angel.
“I’m from Mexico, so I know that if Angel is made with Agave from Jalisco, it means it tastes amazing!! Ngl I’m not a big fan of margaritas…but I think it’s because I haven’t tried the right one, [because] I’m craving the wild berry one. It looks delicious and defines me so well, “On the fence about a margarita” 🫢 Btw, congrats on trying your hand at piña harvesting! That sh*t is hard! Cheers [on] this new project!” -Fer
