Hi my loves! Happy 2025! If you’re new here, welcome to the club! However you found your way to Beau Society, I’m elated you’re along for the ride.

When I started Beau Society five months ago (following over a year of planning) it was this gigantic leap outside my comfort zone. Everything was new to me! Writing, planning, designing, and finding the most ‘me’ way to get a thought or story across — so many learning curves. But through writing to all of you every week, I’ve found confidence through each issue. Now nearly 50,000 of you open my Beau Society letter every Friday. I can’t get over how cool that is.

Sometimes I can get in my head and feel like you came for apples and I’m offering you oranges. Like, you signed up thinking this would be one thing — maybe something I’ve done in the past — and I’ve given you something different. But that’s how I know you’re my people. You’ve met me where I am and showed me you can love oranges, too! I’m so freakin lucky to be able to explore a new part of myself and a new passion and to have you all along for it.

From the jump, I desperately hoped that Beau Society would connect us — and thank God it has done just that. I read all of your replies, and knowing that these issues resonate with you means the world to me and motivates me to keep going. So thank you! You’re incredible.

We’re 20 issues in (I still can’t believe that), and I’m more certain now than ever that taking this leap of faith was the right move. In this new year, I feel more ambitious. I have bigger goals and Beau Society dreams. I feel the momentum. So here’s:

1.    Take more photos. I have been eyeing this specific camera for years (they don’t make it anymore, so finding one is a whole thing) and my favorite person just surprised me with it! I’m so excited. It feels like a little nudge to further embrace this passion. I can’t wait to take it everywhere —on trips, quiet weekends at home, and walks around the neighborhood. My goal is to capture more everyday moments.

2.    Interview more inspiring people. I want to bring on more guests in 2025. I’m thinking about the costars I look up to, artists I love, designers I feel inspired by, and experts I learn from. If you’re new to Beau, these issues give you a taste of some of the amazing BS guests I’ve talked to. We’ve got range.

●      The guys from Queen City Vintage initiated Beau Society into the Bills Mafia.

●      Mara Roszak, my hairstylist and friend, told the story of cutting 10 inches off my hair — it low-key changed my life.

●      I loved Zooming with my favorite knitwear designer, Hope Macauley. You can’t be mad wearing a bright, cozy Hope Macauley sweater. She only uses happy yarn.

●      My best friend Greer and I chatted about our mental health tips. I loved that one.

●      Of course, I had to introduce my fiancé Josh to Beau Society! Our engagement was a huge life highlight, and I loved sharing our Q&A with you first.

I imagine someday bringing guests onto a BS podcast or BS video series. It’s just a dream for now, but I’m putting it out in the Universe!!

3.    Design more BS. I loved designing our Beau hoodies and learned so much from the process. Truly, my hat’s off to any small business owner. My kitchen became a temporary BS warehouse to get these hoodies sealed and shipped. Greer and I spent hours packing Beau hoodies and TIBS (This is BS) stickers into cardboard boxes and assembling them in careful piles. We had to Postmates extra boxes when we ran out. It was mayhem. But it gave me a whole new appreciation for small businesses, and if you believe it, I want to do it again?! More to come…

4.    Learn more about myself and YOU. Some of my favorite issues have been introspective and personal. For example, when I wrote about 28 lessons I learned in 28 years, I got emotional reading which life lesson resonated with you and why. One of my favorite responses was, “This is exactly what I needed to read today.” While I’m no expert and still figuring it out, I’m learning more about myself through reflection and writing — a real bonus I didn’t see coming. P.S. I love that some of you were inspired to make your own list of lessons! I’d love to read them.

5.    Get us all together. This all circles back to this community. When I meet one of you and you tell me you read Beau Society, I get so excited! I want to engage and interact with you even more in 2025. This email will always be a two-way convo. Please continue to reply with your thoughts and ideas. I hope you feel heard. I’m thinking of ways to meet on a larger scale in the new year. Ideally, we can do it in real life, fingers crossed. But for now, the inbox is where it’s at.

I love all of you. I’m looking forward to a new year of talking about things that matter to us, from films to foodto design and self-discovery. If you’re having fun reading these letters, send the Beau Society signup link to a like-minded friend or two. It means more than you know and will help us to scale this little production into something major this year. This is just the beginning.

Love,

Hailee (Beau)

New segment alert! I send voice notes more than texts, so this is a place to share the spirit of a voice note and something that excited me this week.

●      How cool is this? Manifesting getting both Kristin and Emma in Beau in 2025.

Highlighting your comments on the previous week’s issue. Today, we hear Amy’s response to Winding Down.

“Thanks for the reminder that structure can be grounding. I was laid off in late October and not working has been messing with my head and sending me on a thought spiral. The new year is looming and so is the job search, which is hard and full of vulnerability and rejection. I need to embrace it all to work through it, and your last couple of newsletters have helped me mentally prepare for the journey ahead.  Thank you!”  -Amy
